Corrections
We aim for accuracy in everything we publish. When we get something wrong, this page explains how we put it right.
How to report an error
Email us via the Contact page with the link to the article and a note of what looks wrong. Reports from readers are read and checked against the recipe as written.
How we correct
- Minor errors (typos, a misspelt ingredient, a unclear instruction) are fixed in place as soon as they are confirmed.
- Material errors (anything a cook might rely on — a wrong quantity, oven temperature, timing or yield) are fixed in place and noted at the foot of the recipe with the date of the correction.
- Stories that turn out to be wrong are updated prominently, and where a story should not have been published at all, it is removed and the removal is acknowledged.
Updates vs corrections
Recipes improve: a clearer step, a better substitute, a timing refined by reader feedback. Those are updates, marked with an “Updated” timestamp — not corrections — and what changed stays visible in the text.
